Perfumes and Colognes reflect the intensity of aromatic compounds in a mix of ethanol and water. The most common intensities used by perfumers are parfum, eau de parfum, eau de toilette, eau de cologne. Parfum has between 15% to 25% of aromatic compounds; eau de parfum has between 10% and 20%; eau de toilette has between 4% to 15%; and eau de cologne has between 2% and 5%.
